Financial Forecasting, Budgeting and KPI Management

This programme builds an owner or manager’s ability to understand financial performance, prepare useful forecasts and use financial information in decision-making. It is suitable for businesses that want better visibility over revenue, costs, margins, cash requirements and performance trends.

Training covers profit and loss reports, balance sheets, cashflow forecasts, budgeting, break-even analysis, key performance indicators and variance analysis. Using their own business information, participants will construct or refine a working budget, cashflow forecast and KPI dashboard.

At completion, participants will be able to:
• interpret core financial reports;
• prepare and update a budget and cashflow forecast;
• identify appropriate financial and operational KPIs;
• compare actual performance with budget; and
• use financial information to support management decisions.

Time commitment: Two two-hour sessions delivered over six to eight weeks, plus preparation and practical work between sessions.

Full service price: $POA

This is financial management training, not bookkeeping, preparation of statutory accounts or tax compliance. Participants remain responsible for their forecasts, decisions and implementation.
